Printing Instructions

To ensure your pattern prints accurately and at the correct scale, please follow the guidelines below carefully, or visit a professional print shop.

General Guidelines

Always print at 100% scale (actual size)
Select the correct paper size (A4, A3, A2, A1) based on the file and what your printer can handle
For larger formats, it is recommended to use a professional print shop.
Ensure the orientation (portrait or landscape) matches the file settings (this is usually automatic)
After printing, verify the scale using the included 2" x 2" (5cm by 5cm) test square.

Common Mistakes

Do not select "Fit to Page"
Do not scale teh document - keep it at 100%
Avoid mixing A4 and Letter paper sizes
Do not pring large-format patterns on smaller paper 
Double check that the orientation is correct before printing

Google Chrome

1. Open PDF pattern in Chrome
2. Click the printer icon (top right corner)
3. In the print window, click "More Settings"
4. Set: - Scale: Default
           - Paper size: matches your file and your printer cand handle it
           - Margins: Default
5. Print and check the scale using the test square

Microsoft Edge

1. Open PDF pattern in Microsoft Edge
2. Click the printer icon (top right corner)
3. Open "More Settings"
4. Set: - Scale: 100% (Actual Size)
            - Paper size: matches your file and your printer cand handle it
            - Margins: Default
5. Print and verify the scale

Adobe Acrobat Reader

1. Open your PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader
2. Click the printer icon (top left corner)
3. Set: - Size: "Actual Size"
            - Orientation: Auto (Portrait/Landscape)
4. Go to Page Setup and select the correct paper size (A4, A3, A2, A1)
5. Ensure your printer supports the selected size
6. Print and confirm accuracy using test square
